Some One’s Sons are a traditional folk band from Mullingar. The band are noted for their rich harmonies, charismatic and lively sets, while handling ballads with a delicate and passionate touch.
In the last year, they have headlined a sold-out gig at Whelans, performed on TG4 Live and at Electric Picnic, and supported The Fureys. They are also set to be a headliner on this years Fleadh Gig Rig at the Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann. After headlining shows in Galway, Wexford, Dublin and 3 gigs in Germany, the Sons are delighted to return to Dublin at The Cobblestone on September 30th.
The Backroom in The Cobblestone has been home to some of the biggest folk artists in the country, including Christy Moore, Lankum, Ye Vagabonds and Lisa O’Neill. The Cobblestone has been at the heart and core of the Irish trad and folk music revival.
